Martin is available for adoption, he is being fostered in Tampa, FL. Martin is a sweet and active pup, estimated to be about 11 weeks old, currently weighing approximately 13 lbs. He has soulful eyes with adorable freckles on his face. He loves running, wrestling with his brother and playing tug of war. Martin is a gentle puppy who loves to cuddle and be close to his humans. Common to the Catahoula breed, Martin can be “talkative” when excited or when he wants your attention. Martin will thrive in a home where he is around his humans. He is a smart puppy who do best with consistency and positive reinforcement.
Him and his brother, Martin, both sleep in their crate at night and are working on house training.
Martin's mom is a Catahoula mix who we saved from the shelter and the dad is unknown.
Martin will be best suited for an adopter who has experience with herding dogs and/or knows the Catahoula breed and has another young/playful dog at home. Since he's young and is and will continue to be active, he would benefit from having another dog to play with and learn from.
Preference will be given to homes with another dog and a fenced yard.
Martin will go home on a spay/neuter contract - once proof of alteration is received within the specified timeframe, $50 of the adoption donation can be refunded. He is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines.
