Abby is a young, red tri, female border collie. In general, dogs like Abby do not make the best pets for the average home. It would be great if Abby could go to an agility, flyball or frisbee home. It is possible for her to be a great pet, but she'd do best as an only dog so her human can dedicate their free time to physically and mentally stimulating her. Maybe a home with a mellow dog could work too. She loves cats, but she will chase a running feline. She is currently in a foster home with her best friend a cat. Abby is motion sensitive, which is very typical in a high drive dog - what can she say, it's a herding thing?  She has never met a stranger and she's the happiest dog you'll ever meet. She just needs the right human to teach her some basic manners. She will play ball or frisbee for until your arm is sore and she loves long walks. She is loyal, loving and affectionate.  She will make a great addition to the perfect home.
