One look into Bandit's soulful eyes and you just know he has a story to tell. This gentle and wise dog has been a victim of cruelty at the hands of his previous owner. During a confrontation, his previous owner killed a neighbor and then proceeded to stab poor Bandit. Luckily, officials were able to step in and rescue Bandit before he suffered a more serious fate. Now, he is on the mend and settling into his foster family like a champ. His foster mom reports that he is sweet and likes people, takes treats very gently, and even knows a few commands. He seems to be getting along well with the other dogs in his foster home, too. He likes to explore the yard, but checks in frequently for reassurance. And even though he is around 10 years old, Bandit seems curious about toys, especially balls. Wouldn't it be great to be the person that taught Bandit how to play a game of a fetch for possibly the first time in his life? If you want to be that person, contact us today for more information! Update 6/24 Bandit is doing well in his foster home. He plays with toys a little bit, and is okay with all the other dogs. Mostly he wants to be with you for affection. He will be a great dog for a senior couple or moderately active family.
