Grace is 2 years old, light HW+, 56 lbs, and gorgeous! Her tail should be full, but I cut it short because it was matted. So far submissive, housetrained, gets along w other dogs, male and female. Kid friendly. We think she  has quite a bit of English Shepherd in her.. This will be an easy going playful dog great for family activities!! Currently with foster in Winter Haven, Fl area.. Grace is being treated for her heartworms with a slow kill method, which is nothing more than some antibiotics and heartguard given monthly. Moderate activity level, which may increase as she gets more settled in away from shelter life. We will update as her personality unfolds... UPDATE 3/9  Grace is adjusting to her new foster home,and we are seeing some growing pains as she learns what real life with love is like. While she is very loving, she is also very needy at this point, some separation anxiety is coming to the surface. She is learning that crates are not bad places, and gets lots of treats and toys while in one. She will need to be crated while one is out as she is still exploring the house when not supervised. She is very playful with other dogs, and likes to jump and wrestle with them, not all dogs appreciate that style of play. She will have to learn how to read other dogs, and is slowly learning the boundaries that come with living in a home. Her housebreaking is going well, her leash training is also. Grace will need people that are willing to be patient consistent and work with her on integration into the real world. She is not ready to be off lead in any situations outside of the home, and will need a fenced yard. She is a very loving dog, and as she becomes more confident with what is expected of her, she will be less anxious, and become a loving family member. Remember, this girl has had a harsh start in life, and now needs to be taught what the rules are! She is food motivated, and is still learning what toys are...We do recommend obedience classes for her with postive training methods, a home with no young children or cats would be best for this lovely girl! With love and training, this gal will shine like a diamond!!
