Pal is a sad 3 yr old bc mix that was just thrown away! While he craves human contact, he is still unsure of what is coming his way. He is very lovable but needs a consistent environment with boundaries and lots of praise and love so he learns to trust people again! We do not think he has been inside very much, if at all. He is getting ready to undergo heartworm treatment, and will need a nice quiet place to heal in. He does get along with other dogs, but has issues with dominant males, yet gets along with my Scot dog who is intact. He really does not play with other dogs, and is quiet and reserved in the house. I have seen him play with a sock flipping it up in the air and shaking it, but when trying to play tug or stuffies with him, he has no clue how to play with a human. NO food or toy aggression noted. This sweet guy needs lots of one on one, he walks well on a leash, and although he does not like his crate he is learning its an ok place. He does like the couch, and will curl up next to you for lovin! Loves being groomed, and he has a funny top knot that can even be shaped into a mohawk!!! As he has not been tested on cats, would not recommend a home with cats or small children. update as of 2/16: Pal has completed his heartworm treatments and is now in the 4 week crate rest stage.
