This sweet Georgia peach came from SC, and is a year old Cattledog mix!! She is just as adorable as she looks all 29 pounds and 15 inches of her!!! She is a very shy girl, but when she warms up to you, her little bobtail never stops waggling!!!! VERY food motivated, she is in obedience class and agility class for socialization and manners. She has learned sit, down and has a pretty good recall. She is now jumping in the car, and actually this girlie is very agile. She can jump up and down like a yoyo. Plays with the big dogs and does swim like a little fish!!! Very quiet, have not heard her bark. She does like the company of the couch, is not food aggressive and is very submissive with other dogs. Georgia is fast learning that life is not bad and people can be trusted.. I have no doubt she will be able to do agility, disc or flyball in the future. Hand shy when she first got here in 2 weeks time, she comes when called and is taking treats from everyone, allowing pats to her head and is loving those belly rubs!!! We would prefer her to go to a home where she will be well socialized, and her classes really need to be continued. She needs daily belly rubs and loving, her tugging skills are coming along. This is a great little dog, very obedient. Because she is not very confident, no small children at this time, older kids who can take the time with her will be fine!! I do not think there will be a problem with cats, she is very respectful. Georgia is not a hide in the corner dog; she will investigate and has that cattle dog curiosity and tenacity. This is a great little girl who can go a long way!! Georgia will be available for adoption after the first of the year, but dont let that stop you from meeting her!!!
