Do you see that smiling face??? This is the face that Francis has ALL the time!! He is a 5-6 yr old Aussie/Border Collie mix boy that hails from Alabama.He waited over a monthe to get to sunny Florida to his wonderful foster home, and is now looking for his forever home!! A super sweet boy, that loves to give kisses, plays ball and loves other dogs, he is great with kids and cats too!!! this may be the perfect dog!! Francis' former owners did not take good care of him, and his is low heartworm positive. We have elected to treat him with the slow kill method and he is on monthely advantage multi for that. He will need to continue heartworm prevention for the rest of his life, as it should be in Florida!. His energy level is good, he is an active healthy boy acting like a puppy most of the time!! Francis is allergic to ivermectin and can never have any products with ivermectin so we are looking for a home where people are going to be able to faithfully continue the regime he is on now. Its really nothing more than getting his usual monthly heartworm preventative. Francis is utd on shots, neutered housebroken and cratetrained!! He walks on lead very well, and LOVES to ride in the car! Great companion dog, for a moderately active family, Francis would love to come home with you!!!
