Meet Luke. This sweet boy is looking for his always & furever home.

Luke knows many commands: sit, stay, come, wait, off, “casa” (kennel), cookie, potty, load up, leave it, and more. And, believe it or not, because he lives in a bilingual home, he's even picking up on some Spanish commands! 

Luke’s ideal home is one that enjoys the outdoors and has a fenced-in yard with a playmate(s). He is of average to slightly above average energy, plays well with others (goes to daycare), and has a great off switch at home.

Luke is high Velcro. He follows you room-to-room and, if you’re laying down, he loves to be on your lap, touching you with his paw, or leaning his body on you. He’s a loving sensitive soul who wants to be around the people he loves.

Luke has few habits he's learning to break: he does pull on the leash so we recommended a gentle leader or something similar is used, and he still sometimes says "hi" with a jump.  He has shown great improvement but is still working on it.  

Luke was missing consistency in his first year of life, so he's looking for a savvy dog owner willing to stay committed to his training and the commands he has gained in such a short time. Luke is motivated by food and praise which makes him very easy to train. Luke has the potential to be an amazing dog, all he needs is a home willing to help him be the best boy he can be.

Luke is currently being fostered in the Orlando area with 2 foster fur siblings, a cat and even some chickens! He's met kids as young as 4 and adults as old as 70 and he loves them all. He's ready to love you to the moon and back - could you be his always and forever?
