A little about me - I am very shy and nervous in new situations. I’ve been through a lot, and sometimes it’s hard to trust new people. But I promise to be your best friend once we get to know each other! I am friendly, loving, and calm I just want to love someone and be loved in return Oh this poor sweet little man He was rescued from a hoarder situation with dozens of other chihuahuas. He has spent the last week hunkered down in his kennel at the shelter, not eating, not moving from his bed, depressed, and frozen in fear. He has warmed up to us throughout this evening. He was a perfect gentleman for his bath and nail trim, and then settled in for a nap with my husband. He gets happy and excited when he sees our small chihuahua, and wants to play. However he is nervous around our bigger dogs - he tolerates their sniffing, but growls softly and tucks his head in to whoever is holding him. So interaction has been very limited. Excited to love on this dude and see his personality come out in the coming days

Finn is currently in a foster home in Alabama.. He came from a horrible hoarding situation. As you can see, he needs a quiet home,other small friendly dogs are ok, dog wise children he will be fine with, older couple who want to do small walks.. His whole world will open up if you are patient kind and slow as this foster family has been with him. Will get more info such as age and weight.  FLORIDA FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED PLEASE>>  HE WILL MAKE YOU HIS BEST FRIEND!!

Finn chi is STILL WAITING FOR HIS FOREVER HOME!! HE IS COMING ALONG AND JUST NEEDS A QUIET HOME WITH PATIENT LOVING FOLK!! May be he can teach someone about taking the time to sniff the flowers!!!! We would like to bring him to FLorida next week.. He is Heartworm positive but the rescue pays for that.. Please consider fostering or adopting Finnchi...
