What would McFly do if he could go back in time? Spend more time with his furever family of course! This sweet senior blue heeler is a true Southern gentleman. He is approximately 11 years old and 41 lbs. McFly was picked up as a stray in Cape Canaveral. He is chipped, but when his owner was contacted, they did not come and pick him up. Luckily, we were able to step in, and he is so happy to be out of the shelter! Since then, we’ve learned he’s easy going and people friendly; although he should probably be in an adult only home or a home with older, considerate children. He’s also dog friendly and has been respectful of other dogs he’s met. He has not been cat tested, but he does have a strong prey drive. He is quiet, easy going, and calm, and he likes to go for walks, he is good at the dog park, and likes naps. McFly walks well on the leash and rides well in the car. He is both house trained and crate trained. Although he’s considered a senior, he is playful and has a little giddy-up. He does have some hearing issues but is responsive and attentive. He hears other dogs barking and louder sounds. He might be a little hard of hearing, but overall, he is about as good of a dog as you could get. McFly is currently being fostered in Vero Beach, FL.
