Finn is a lovely boy who is looking for his best friend and forever family. Would you like to makes all of his dreams come true? Finn is an approximately 4-year-old, 34-lb Australian cattle dog being fostered in Pinellas Park, FL (Pinellas County). He likes to play in the yard, do his zoomies, and also check the fence line daily for lizards invading his yard. He loves to chase them. He watches birds and squirrels too. He also enjoys going on long daily walks on the trail, checking out the dog park and seeing other dogs. He likes rides in the car and anywhere else you would like to take him. In the house he is a good boy and low key. He entertains himself with his chewies and likes to take all of the toys out of the toy basket one by one. He also enjoys cuddles, showing affection, belly rubs and giving lots of kisses. He is interested in anything and everything you are doing and will follow you around like a shadow.

Finn is a fast learner, listens well, and knows basic commands including come here, sit, give paw, down, off, and out, and he is learning leave it. He is eager to please especially when treats are involved. He walks well on the leash. He is friendly with new people and good with older considerate kids.

Finn is being fostered in a home with one other dog and, at times, is not very good at sharing the attention of his human with the other dog. He is tolerant of the other dog most of the time, but has more of a dominant personality and does want to be the "top dog." He'll need to be introduced to new dogs slowly. For this reason, he would benefit from more socialization, some further training and a herding dog savvy owner who will be able to provide the boundaries that he needs.

Finn is house trained, neutered, heart-worm negative, and up-to-date on his vaccines.
