Willie is an approximately one-year-old, 35 lb lab mix currently being fostered in Satellite Beach, FL (Brevard County). Willie was abandoned, which has made him a little nervous, but overall, he is a sweet, even-keeled, loveable guy who is just looking for his own family. He enjoys being right next to his person, going for walks, and also cuddling up to relax! Did we mention bones? He loves them! He is learning to sit and come, which is easier with treats. He has been good about going potty outside, but he does have the occasional accident in his crate. He is not destructive and knows how to get along with everyone! Willie is working on his leash training (he can be a little all over the place), but he is always happy to go for walks or sit outside with his person! He does have some anxiety when he is in his crate or left alone. We think he just needs some patience, consistency and love. The ideal home for Willie would be where he is not left alone for the bulk of the day. He is fine with other dogs and cats; although, he doesn’t seem to have a huge interest in playing.
