Harper is a one-year-old, 16-lb rat terrier mix currently being fostered in Lutz, FL (Pasco County). Harper’s foster calls her “Adorbs,” and we can totally see why! This girl loves to cuddle, give love, and play, whether it’s with her humans, other dogs, or by herself. She enjoys her chew toys and stuffed animals (although they may not stay stuffed for long)! She loves to go for walks and chase lizards and bugs. She loves her humans and wants to have physical contact with them all the time. She will sleep on your lap or on top of the couch … anywhere to be close to her person. Harper can get herself lost while looking for bugs, lizards and squirrels, so she will need a house with a fenced-in yard. Harper has had successful hip surgery due to a congenital hip issue. She is fully recovered and has no problem running around, climbing stairs or playing. She is intelligent and treat motivated, making her a fast learner. Harper is house broken, knows basic commands and can be left alone in the house without any issues. Harper is spayed, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccines.
