Bailey is an approximately 11-month-old, 45-lb blue heeler mix currently being fostered in Fort Myers, FL (Lee County). Bailey was found in the woods before taking the eight-hour journey to meet her fosters. Since then, she’s been enjoying all that life has to offer, whether it’s taking walks, playing with her stuffed toys (which she’s careful not to destroy), meeting new people and dogs, playing fetch, or just lying in the sun. Most of all, though, Bailey enjoys hanging out with her humans. She is affectionate, easy-going, very smart, and loves to give kisses. Bailey knows basic commands, such as sit, down, shake, come and leave it, but she would benefit from additional training to help with walking on a leash and her separation anxiety. She requires a home with a fenced in yard, and she could benefit from a submissive playmate. Bailey is spayed, house-trained, crate-trained, and up to date on vaccines.
