FOSTER OR FOSTER TO ADOPT!  Halley is an approximately one-year-old shepherd mix, 50 lbs. She is a bit reserved to begin with but, in no time, she will have her head in your lap.  She has been with other pups and has done fine but isn't playful with them; this could change, of course, once she is established in a foster home.  Halley can also be an only dog as well.  She is becoming more confident and is a happy girl.      

Halley is heartworm positive and needs treatment. One should be prepared to foster for a 3-month-period, and the heartworm criteria can be discussed in detail. She is spayed, up to date on shots and has started pre-treatment for heartworm treatment. Walks well on lead. Very smart girl. Currently in Georgia.
