Theo is being fostered in Vero Beach, FL (Indian River County).  Theo is around one year old, 30 lbs. and he looks like a heeler-jack russell terrier mix. Theo takes direction well, is very eager to please, and is very food motivated. He is a bit shy at first and will need someone with some patience initially with him until he knows he's safe.  Also, Theo does seem to be more timid around men. Theo lives in a home with several other dogs and does very well with them. He loves going on walks, playing with toys and watching squirrels.  A fenced yard would be best for him as he loves to try to catch lizards and watch squirrels and when he gets his "zoomies" loves to run around out back. Theo has a 10-year old human foster sister who he adores; Theo would do well a bit older, respectful children.  We think Theo would do best in a home with an active companion dog as he likes the interaction and play and will be good for his self-confidence.  Theo is crate and house-trained, neutered, heartworm negative and up to date on all vaccines.
