Ghost is available for foster or adoption and is being temporarily fostered in Englewood, FL. Ghost is a 30 lbs, 2 year old, possible Whippet mix looking for someone who wants to understand and be patient with him.  He was pulled from Orange County Animal Services back in late December where he was scheduled to be euthanized for space. Before getting rescued, he has been failed over and over again by humans. He has been living with a temporary foster who advises that for Ghost to succeed in his new foster or forever home, he needs to be understood. He needs a patient home that understands he likes his space at times. He also likes to cuddle on your lap at other times. He is ok with other dogs that are respectful and not right in his face. Older kids who are respectful of him could also work.  Ghost will require a home without small children as they make him very nervous. He prefers the simple and predicable life. A foster who can be patient with him and understand that fast movements and loud noises are not his forte would be most ideal. Ghost is an amazing dog but in order to succeed, he needs someone who understands his personality.
