We are actively looking for a foster or foster-to-adopt home for Reba to see her through her heartworm treatment. She is currently located in Bradenton, FL (Manatee County). The rescue will cover all expenses of the treatment. Reba is a 2 year old, possible Lab/Duck Toller/Viszla mix. Whatever she is, she is red. Red nails, nose, eyelids, golden eyes. A true redhead! She is a moderately active dog, loves to play with other dogs, toys, and loves her people. She is independent but affectionate, and not needy. She has been in the water, but hasn't yet started swimming. She would be a great companion for hiking trips or a jogging partner. A fairly active family would be great for her. Cats are a no-go. Kids would be okay. She is not a jumper. She loves to be with you. Seems to be fairly steady, quiet and is a follower, not a leader.
