Vegas is available for foster or adoption, he is located in Kissimmee, FL (Osceola County).  He is approximately 2 years old, and mostly, if not all, Border Collie.

Vegas needs someone that has patience, time, and is consistent with training.  He loves to run, wrestle with his foster siblings, play in water, and gather toys from the four corners of the yard and hide with them in tall bushes. Vegas would make a fabulous agility dog, trick dog or Frisbee dog. He has taken two trick classes with his foster mom and he did great! He will definitely need someone to continue a focused-type of training with him to keep his intelligent brain working in the right direction. He learns everything very quickly, and has made great progress in just two weeks in basic house manners. He knows sit, stay and down, as well as a few beginning stages of tricks.  He seems to really love children, but as with any herding dog, he can be a bit mouthy. He is learning to be gentle and give toys back nicely. He is not good with cats so his forever home needs to be cat-free. Vegas loves other dogs and other dogs love him. He is a rough-houser, so doggie siblings would be best to be same age and size. Vegas also needs room to run and get his energy out so a VERY active home is a MUST for Vegas. He is housebroken and crate-trained, neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, preventatives and heartworm negative.
