Odin is a fun-loving, smart, loyal and trainable boy. He likes to play fetch and tug, romp in the yard and wrestle but he also has an off switch. He’s alert and affectionate, walks well on a leash, rides great in the car and is a wonderful office dog. We believe him to be about 3 years old and he looks to be a German Shepherd mix. He’s neutered, up-to-date on shots, house-trained (uses a doggy door) and an alert watch dog. At about 70lbs. he has a soft black and white coat, deep golden eyes and the cutest ears. Odin would be a great match for a person or family looking for a fun, versatile guardian. He takes correction well, loves to play with other dogs and would do best with a confident, active canine packmate. Although untested with cats we believe he would do fine if properly introduced since he’s respectful of his senior dachshund packmate. Although he can look and sound intimidating, inside Odin is a happy boy with a silly, affectionate disposition. He’s currently fostered in Northeast, FL (Amelia Island) but transport can be arranged.   We are a foster-based rescue organization with foster homes throughout the state of Florida. We predominantly save dogs from municipal shelters throughout the Southeastern U.S. Our rescue dogs live in foster homes - there is no central facility.
