Elfie is available for foster or adoption. We are a foster-based rescue and always looking for foster families. Elfie is currently fostered in Bradenton, FL (Manatee County). Elfie is a 2-year-old basenji mix of 25 lbs who will likely fill out to about 30 lbs. He is fun, quick and agile and would likely make a good agility or scent work dog. He loves to play with toys. He is high energy and will need other dogs in his home. He can put up a front with some other dogs, but it appears to be all a show. He is very responsive to correction by both dogs and people. Elfie is a total love and very snuggly, and overall very amiable with all. He is untested with children and cats at this time. He does require a fenced yard. Elfie is housebroken, crate trained, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and preventives, microchipped and heartworm-free.
