Thelma is available for foster or adoption. We are a foster-based rescue and always looking for foster families! Thelma is currently fostered in Sanford, FL (Seminole County) . I f you love wire-haired dogs and you love big dogs, look no further. Thelma (she's down for a name change and a makeover) is a 4-year-old Irish Wolfhound mix (we think but we aren't sure), sitting at about 80lbs full of love for her human companion. If you need a diet buddy, she'd love to be that for you, she really needs to lose a few pounds to look her best again! She is so deserving of a loving home to call her own, and whoever ends up giving her a home will be so loved by this big girl. She's well mannered, listens well, knows basic commands, loves to play with toys and other big dogs. Thelma is fine with other dogs that aren't pushy or in her face or she can just be your solo companion animal!  Thelma is looking for someone to take her on some fun adventures. She is housebroken, crate trained and uses a dog door. She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines and preventives, microchipped and heartworm negative.  We are a foster-based rescue organization with foster homes throughout the state of Florida. We predominantly save dogs from municipal shelters throughout the Southeastern U.S. Our rescue dogs live in foster homes - there is no central facility.
