Jake is fostered in Bradenton, FL (Manatee County). We are a foster-based rescue and always looking for foster families! Can you say fun? This young boy has a gleam in his eye, and loves to play. He is a happy soul, loves people, other dogs, kids and just loves life! He is a mere 9 pounds, but has a BIG personality! LOVES to play, LOVES to tug, LOVES to snuggle. He walks well on lead. Housebroken, crate trained. Jake will dance on his hind legs for you. VERY treat-motivated. He tries to elicit play with other dogs, so we feel he would do best with another active dog. A fenced yard is a big plus as he loves to explore. He is learning basic commands now. Rides well in the car. Jake will be a great dog for a family who takes him hiking or running. He may be a candidate for dog sports. We will test him around water and see if he likes to swim. This is a dog that will make you smile after a bad day at work. He does smile all the time and has an elfish gleam in his eye. Jake is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and preventives, microchipped and heartworm negative.
