Zara is available for foster or adoption. We are a foster-based rescue and always looking for fosters! Zara is currently fostered in Dade City, FL (Pasco County).

Take a look at this adorable girl! Zara is a chunky red heeler girl who has some weight to lose. She currently weighs 57 lbs and is about 5 years old. She clearly was someone's pet before she found herself in the shelter, as she was well fed and previously microchipped. Zara is a sweet and endearing dog. She bounces on her front feet for food and when you talk to her! We will get video of it to post here as well. She is a bit shy around all the dogs in her foster home - gets along great, but will go in her crate to relax if she gets overwhelmed. She is such a good dog.

Zara is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines and preventives, and heartworm negative.
