We are a foster-based rescue and all our dogs are located in foster homes throughout Florida. BARNEY is fostered in PUNTA GORDA. Barney is about 9 weeks old now and just learning what it means to be crate trained, he is doing a great job! He is a fun-loving, social puppy full of love and kisses. Barney is the runt of the litter but the biggest lover. He currently weighs 15 lbs and will likely be medium-to-large in size as an adult. His crate training is going well so his next step in his forever home will be to housetrain him and take him to puppy/doggy classes to teach him manners. Barney is a quick learner, eager to please and quite happy to hang out on your lap just giving puppy kisses. As with all puppies, be prepared for house training, chewing, biting, chasing, and all the fun things that come with puppies. Since Barney is part border collie he will need an active home, one that will take him to dog sports classes, jogging, biking, swimming, hiking or dock diving, or all of these things! If Barney sounds like a good fit for your home, please fill out an adoption application.
