Australian Kelpie / Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat) : : Female (not spayed) : : Baby : : Medium
Georgia is fostered in Webster, FL (Sumter County). This litter was born in foster care the night of 5/26 into the morning of 5/27 to a medium-sized Australian kelpie mix mom. Dad is unknown, but they look to have some Labrador in them as well. They will be likely medium-sized adults (35-45 lbs). Please read about the needs of herding breeds like kelpies before inquiring. These pups are now nearly two months old and will be ready to meet approved prospective adopters in the coming weeks. Like all puppies adopted through our rescue, before adoption they will be up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines and microchipped. They will go home with spay/neuter contracts - they need to be altered at 6 months of age, and when proof is submitted, $50 of their adoption donations can be refunded. As with all puppies, they will need to be housebroken and given proper socialization, manners and professional training. Again, these puppies are herding dog mixes, so they will need homes that understand and will accommodate the needs and tendencies of herders. They will need an active lifestyle and a fenced-in area to run and train. Families with respectful children are encouraged to apply. More about GeorgiaGood with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids
