Abby is available for foster or adoption. We are a foster-based rescue and always looking for fosters! Abby is currently fostered in Dade City, FL (Pasco County).

Abby is a sweet blue heeler girl of 35 lbs and 2 years. She can be shy at first, but once she warms up she is wonderful. She would make an excellent companion. She is low to medium energy, so on the mellower side for a cattle dog!

Abby tested low positive for parvovirus last month. This means she had parvo some months ago and was still shedding the virus last month. This does NOT mean she has parvovirus - there is a 6-month shedding period post-illness. Abby is fully vaccinated now that she is in rescue, but this means that out of an abundance of caution, she cannot be homed with immunocompromised dogs or sent to a home that whelps litters of puppies for 5 months. She can go to an ordinary home with vaccinated dogs at any time! Abby is up-to-date on vaccines and preventives, spayed, heartworm negative and microchipped. She is ready to find her forever family!
