Mac is available for foster or adoption. We are a foster-based rescue and always looking for fosters! Mac is currently fostered in Dade City.

Mac is a year-old border collie mix. He was found wandering before a bad ice storm and a kind family took him in and evaluated him. Mac does great with people and other dogs. He needs to go to a home without cats as he chases them relentlessly! Mac is intelligent, obedient, eager to please, and affectionate. He loves to play ball and go for walks. Mac is housebroken and leash trained. When he was taken in he had fleas and ticks and lost quite a bit of the hair on his back due to an allergic reaction to them. Now that he is free of them his hair is growing back in, and with patience his beautiful coat will be back. Mac is in need of FHO hip surgery, which the rescue will provide. He would benefit from a quiet foster home in which to recover from his surgery, ideally in Pinellas, Manatee or Sarasota counties.
