Abby is currently fostered in Sarasota. She is a sweet and petite 7-month-old cattle dog at about 20 lbs. She may fill out to 25-30 when fully grown. Abby is deaf and needs a home with patience and willingness to implement alternative training techniques. Her foster is using a vibration collar to train her for recall. Abby is currently learning hand signals for sit, down and stay, and true to her breed is extremely intelligent and learns quickly!

Abby is tenacious and confident, but tractable (another cattle dog trait). Abby is housebroken and crate trained. She walks great on a leash and sits before she is let outdoors. She would do fine as an only dog, but loves to play with both dogs and cats (although not all cats may appreciate it!).

Abby is currently learning to focus on her human for direction, and respects discipline well. She is quiet and calm in the house. Abby LOVES to play and tug, and could be trained as a disc dog. Please get in touch if interested in this sweet and talented young girl!
