Raven is fostered in Cape Coral, FL (Lee County). We are a foster-based rescue and always looking for fosters! Raven is an adorable, active, intelligent girl. She just turned a year old and weighs 23 lbs. She came into rescue at 5 months old and is STILL waiting for her special someone to find her, but she is doing GREAT. She is really maturing and not such a wild and crazy puppy anymore. She is good with other dogs, confident cats and kids. Very social, loves strangers, not afraid of loud noises, and has sports potential. She would do best in a home with another dog (she can be nervous is new situations), but may adjust to an only dog home. Raven was recently DNA tested and came out as equal parts Sheltie, beagle, chow and Chihuahua, with the remainder an unresolved mix of hound, terrier and companion breeds. She is a Heinz 57 and the best breed of all: rescued! Raven has finally learned to snuggle and enjoys relaxing on your lap while you watch television. She has some energy, so she needs playtime and stimulation so she doesn't get into stuff. She would do fine in a home where the family works during the day as long as she gets attention in the evenings. She is housebroken, crate trained, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines and preventives, and microchipped.
