Jake is available for foster or adoption. We are a foster-based rescue and always looking for fosters! Jake is currently fostered in St. Pete.

Jake is a 4 year old mixed-breed dog weighing just around 40 pounds with an incredible personality. He is housebroken and crate trained. He gets along with everyone--cats, dogs, and kids of all ages. He rides beautifully in the car and loves to go to the dog park. He walks well on a leash and harness. He is not afraid of thunderstorms and rarely barks. He's a good snuggler and everyone notes his calm, peaceful energy upon first meeting him. I'd say he's almost perfect! He is a wonderful companion and so loveable. He is an easy dog to love and everyone falls in love with his calming positive energy immediately.  He is truly carefree in his mind.

Jake was diagnosed with canine epilepsy at 1.5 years old but is doing much better on his current medication regimen. He is looking for a quiet home where he is the only dog or with a nonreactive dog in case he does have a seizure. He is up to date on all shots and preventives. Jake is a wonderful dog that needs a chance to be in a home where he is safe and loved. This is a sweet, loving dog, well-trained and ready for his new home. He will be a great companion for someone. We would welcome a foster for Jake. He is still in an unsafe position.
