Indie is a sweet, happy and active Aussie/catahoula mix, about 1.5 years old. She would make a great family dog as long as the family is active and/or has land on which she can run and play. She may have sports or working potential once she goes through obedience training. She is intelligent, eager to please and listens well. She would do best in a home with another dog, as she spends most of her time playing with the other young female dog in her foster home. She is currently about 45 pounds, but once she has attained a healthy weight she could top out close to 60. She does well on a leash; she will need some finessing which will come with obedience training. She is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on shots and preventives, and heartworm negative. If adopted in the short term, she will need to be fed a special diet to ensure she continues to gain weight. Let us know if you'd like to know more about this very special girl.
