Blitzen is fostered in Tampa, FL (Hillsborough County). We are a foster-based rescue and always looking for foster families. Blitzen has come back into rescue, to the foster home he was born in on 12/6/16. His adoptive family loved him, and he loved them, but he was a little bit too nervous around their young children. Blitzen is a good boy of about 40 lbs -- housetrained, affectionate, friendly -- and his former mom tells us he loved running with her when she rode her bicycle! Blitzen likes other dogs once he gets to know them. He is a little nervous at first around new dogs, but given time he is fine with them. He is also OK with cats in the house (outside, if they run from him he'll chase them). Blitzen is available to a home without small children. He is up-to-date on vaccines and preventives, microchipped, neutered and heartworm negative.
